Set our mail from Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo in Evolution
Ubuntizando of the planet of None. Crunch (Misha)
Change Linux is a Rhaeto for those in the world of the Viennese "all easy" for MS / Windows. If the account on Hotmail, if the messenger, if the games, the list is endless as pilgrims some of the excuses not to try the "temptation" which proposes the use of free tools on free software or proprietary.
Needless to say, adding to Outlook is cured with a good dose of Evolution or Thunderbird, that for the best messenger is a bit of morphine to Pidgin or Empathy and the theme of games ... if all that we can play on Linux with Wine to go more than enough. It is my opinion, some will some nuance in my words but I think all will agree that there is an alternative and often better.
But the mail ... How do we convince someone to confide in Evolution as mail client? I think that first step is to see how easy it is configure your mail from Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo . I hope to make it easy for all ' Hotmail addicts' that can read us.
Hands! The first is familiar with Evolution. As all applications have a toolbar with the typical options file, edit, etc. In editing, the option of preferences, from where we set our email account.
With the introductions, we begin to set our accounts by adding the following information:

We have a section where we can adjust our preferences, the first is just allows us to add one or more email accounts. Each profile is editable once added, so if we get it wrong you can always edit and correct.
Like any program of this type to select Add a wizard starts that almost takes us by the hand during the process. Will appear a series of forms that we fill. Here it is a catch for anyone to panic.
