nearly a year I've had two PC's on the table from my desk, an old AMD 1300 Mhz. sugarcane and two dual core that I use regularly, both with ubuntu rspectivament 10:04 and 10:10. How did you use the oldest computer I started to think about what I could do with 2 PCs and two flat panel displays.
I had to think about it much.
The solution was to bring the old computer to the television of the house to make it serve as a media center.
I install a Linux distribution focused on very lightweight media playback to watch DVDs and play files from hard disk or flash drive. Within a few days you will a "distro" with the most advanced web browser in order to play videos from youtube page watch videos and online movies and series. As we
spare monitor, I have added a screen on my dual core Medion. Here above is the result. We recommend it if you have two screens and a PC.
